Trillium Midwifery Care was established in 2006 and like many practices it has evolved over the years.

Emme Corbeil CPM, LM and Grace Flannery CPM, LM are a two-midwife practice working in true partnership. The Midwifery Model of Care has a foundation rooted in mutual trust, evidenced-based practice, education, and shared decision-making. Each family receiving care with Trillium will feel love, support, and personalized guidance through their birthing time. This is the hallmark of community midwifery care.

At Trillium Midwifery Care we believe and trust in the normal, yet sacred, process of birth. Not only is birth the most powerful and transformative time in a person’s life, it is also a normal physiological process that a body is exquisitely designed for. With trust, love, and skill we believe that almost every birth will proceed normally.

Our philosophy is rooted in our belief and desire to provide you and your family with loving, individualized, and family-centered care using evidence-based practices.

What is truly at the heart of home birth midwifery care is the relationship we build during our prenatal time together. When it comes time for your baby’s birth, you and your family will know the Trillium team very well and we will know your greatest hopes and deepest desires.

We strive to make your care holistic and family-centered in order to meet your individual needs. We know that birth is a time of powerful family growth and change. We encourage chosen family members and your birth team to be involved in your prenatal care.

“During my difficult labor, it was the knowledge, strength and confidence of these women by my side that carried me through. My hope is for every birthing [person] to feel as safe, secure, loved and supported as I did with these amazing midwives.”
